Analytical Facilities
- 700MHz NMR (proton, carbon, boron, phosphorous and fluorine standard nuclei)
- High-res mass spectrometry (Electrospray, electron ionization and chemical ionization mass spectrometry up to 3,000 mass units, exact mass measurement up to 5ppm)
- Chiral HPLC (including reverse phase and preparative) & chiral GC
- UV-Vis spectrophotometry
- ReactIR for real-time observation of reaction progress
Other facilities available include trace ion analysis, elemental analysis (C, H, N, S and P as standard), differential scanning calorimetry, size exclusion chromatography, thermogravimetric analysis and optical rotation measurements.

The following HTT platforms are available for rapid definition of reaction envelope and validation of key assumptions:
- Gilson ReactArray automated synthesis workstation with on-line HPLC
- ChemSpeed Accelerator workstation for rapid definition of reaction envelope
- Reaction temperature from -30°C to 230°C
- Pressure up to 80 bar
- Two liquid feeds
- pH control
- Solids dosing and controlled gas addition
- Measurement of turbidity and gas mass flow
